18/10 Stainless Steel

Stainless steel is undoubtedly the material of choice for TASCA sinks, as it guarantees hygiene, durability and corrosion resistance, as well as being infinitely recyclable.

 Of the various types of stainless steel available, AISI 304 steel (EN 1.4301) is most widely used in indoor domestic kitchens because it is food-safe and hygienic, and offers greater resistance to food stains and corrosion than other materials.

 AISI 316L (EN 1.4404) stainless steel is equally hygienic and suitable for food contact. In addition, thanks to its molybdenum content and low carbon content, it offers greater corrosion resistance and is therefore suitable for outdoor installations.

For its composite sinks, TASCA uses granite and quartz powders mixed with acrylic resin in an 80/20 ratio.

Its special composition, combined with the sophisticated manufacturing process, makes this composite material resistant to impact and heat, stains and scratches.

Thanks to these qualities of strength and durability, composite sinks last longer than other coloured sinks (painted sinks, ceramic sinks) and therefore have a lower impact on waste generation.

The compound is suitable for contact with food and is enriched with titanium dioxide nanoparticles, which make the sink surface antibacterial.
